6th Beauty Innovation Days

Beauty Cluster is organizing the sixth edition of the Beauty Innovation Days (6BIDs), an annual leading innovation event in the beauty sector, which will be held from the 26th to 29th of January 2021 in a virtual format and entirely in English to facilitate international participation. This new edition will collect the latest in the entire value chain and connect participants from around the world interested in cosmetic innovation, perfumery or personal care.

The event is committed to a high-quality scientific program, which will include inspiring master sessions by international experts, highlighting the presentation of the world’s leading innovative launches in skin care, hair care and body care by Mintel. Professor Desmond Tobin, Director of the Charles Institute of Dermatollogy at University College Dublin, has confirmed his participation among more than 50 international speakers, who will give a masterclass on hair coloring and aging.

In addition, more than 40 innovative projects of the industry will be presented in the elevator pitch format, representing the entire value chain, with the presence of key sector companies. Hyper-personalization, artificial intelligence in beauty, sensoriality and research into new textures or the latest innovations in cosmetic packaging are some of the topics that will complete this year’s agenda.

At Provital we will participate with a presentation by Blanca Martinez, our Research & Innovation Manager, about how we develop and apply computational screening tools, unique skin models, omic platforms and neurosciences to back the efficacy of our natural and biotechnological ingredients.
