Selection of Works and Prizes

• All Participants will receive a certificate of participation.

• A short list of 25 works will be drawn up by all the employees of Provital, the number in each category (Photography, Watercolour and Painting) being proportional to the number of Works submitted.

• A jury will later select the winners of the contest from among the 25 short-listed Works. The jury will be composed of artists, art experts and representatives of Artistas Divers@s, Barberà del Vallès City Council and Provital.

The winners will be announced on 18 September 2024. The jury’s decision will be final and not subject to appeal.

• The winners of previous editions can also take part in the Contest and will be exclusively eligible for the Myrtha Casanova Award.

Award Ceremony and Exhibition

• The short-listed works will be displayed in an exhibition in November 2024, and prizes will be awarded as part of the opening ceremony.

• If your work is among the 25 short-listed, you undertake to courier the original work to PROVITAL within 2 weeks after being informed that your work has been selected. In order to ensure that the works remain safe and arrive in good condition, they must be sent framed with a simple strip of wood. Works protected with glass will not be accepted (methacrylate may be used if necessary). PROVITAL will bear the shipping costs.

• After the end of the exhibition, Provital will return the works to the finalists Participants who did not win a prize.

• If your work is not short-listed but you would like it to be included in the exhibition, you may send it to Provital, and it will be displayed. All you have to do is collect it after the end of the exhibition and pay the shipping costs.

• As the organiser of the Contest, Provital accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may be suffered by the works. You may insure your works at your own expense if you wish.

Dissemination

• All works entered will be displayed on the Artistas Divers@s Online Platform (www.artistasdiversos.org) for international dissemination, with the artists’ prior consent.

• Provital will prepare a booklet for publication jointly with Artistas Divers@s.

• The winning works will become the property of Provital who will be exclusively entitled to their use and the rights of photographic reproduction and display.
